I am really tired today. Fighting to keep my eyes open. I slept well last night just not long enough. The dogs needed to go out only once around 3am and then went back to sleep after about 20 minutes of bed hopping.
Jack the 70lb lab tried to sleep in the smallest dog bed, which is for the 15 lb terrier. The small bed is next to my side of my bed and that is were Terri the terrier has slept for 16 years. But for some reason Jack decided to sleep there last night. Terri couldn't settle down so she walked the bedroom until I made Jack move to the large dog bed. After that all was quite, except the freight train snoring of smush face Belvedere the caviler king Charles spaniel. He always snores, but last night he was exceptionally loud. I didn't want to get up to give him a benadryl so I suffered with the snoring. Belly has allergies, so combined with his smush face he really sounds like a freight train when he snores.
Other then the occasional flutter of bat wings the rest of the night was uneventful. I just wish I could have slept longer, but I am here at the store in desperate need of a Starbucks. Saturday will be the day I get to sleep in. I am looking forward to it.

Funny. We seem to replace the "misery" of kids with animals. I put it in quotes cause we wouldn't have it any other way would we?
My Cavalier male is a snore machine!!! Daisy, his 'significant other' never snores.
We do replace kids with animals. I love them and each one has their own personality, but sometimes I would like to ship them to the shelter. Just for 20 mins. tho. I would miss them to much.
