Because I like to know

Anon's sister: what is going on over there? you have not been posting much, you must be really busy.

Bubbles: How is the ironwood? And what ever happened to the first handy man that had a crush on you?

Dick Small: which beer do you like best? and do you travel? You appear to be a traveler.

GKL: How is the remodeling going?

Johnny: What are you going to do over the summer? Planning to visit the baseball hall of fame in Cooperstown? if so check out Howe Cavern as well, really cool cave stuff there.

Kirby: what books did you pick up for the summer? Please recommend some I am looking for a couple turn of the century crime mystery types. Any suggestions?

Skyler's Dad: How is Skyler? And are you running in any marathons over the summer?

Some Guys Blog: you may have posted this before I started blogging, but I am interested in knowing how you got started carving fish, and are you artistic in other forms?

Talia: Have you picked up anymore corsets? Different colors?

Teri: How is the family tree going? Any new branches to research? Going on a genealogy trip this summer?

Vikkittitti: sorry I spelled your name wrong. What drew you to politics? I like your views and assessments of political people and situations.

I need to get over to the house and take a photo but the kitchen and bathroom cabinets are up! Also, the new kitchen window is in (we made it bigger and centered over the sink), and all the drywall is done. Yay!

Thanks for asking.

Well, I personally don't HAVE a favorite, so-to-speak. I'll pretty much take anything I can get...

Thank-you for asking, cheer! I'm sorry I haven't replied to that question lately.

The ironwood is doing great. Actually, I was trimming a limb or two yesterday to make room at the top of the water slide. My nifty chain pole saw is broken and I had to cut them with a dull hand saw while standing on top of a ladder.

I'm a moron sometimes. Duh. Ironwood=very hard... saw=dull... task=mega difficult.

Funny how our perspectives change, tho... that tree can really dirty up the pool.

I'm just kidding. I still really love the tree and am so glad to have it there.

Are you Sorry you asked? I am a chatty girl! Some people would have said, "The tree is great.". :-)

Oh, handyman. I forgot that one.

We are getting married next June.

Bubbles is a liar.

She has not called me back since I gave her flowers again and I have not dropped by.

I heard that there was something that she could have had me come back to her pool to fix, but for some reason she doesn't call.

Hmmmm.

GKL: pictures would be good

DicK: Traveler?

Bubbles: I always enjoy your posts. They are never to long, only as long as they need to be

Vikkittiki: I have trouble with spelling. The ploitics thing tho.

I bought a new corset at the festival I went to a few weeks ago - it's an underbust and is emerald green - lovely with my hair. Aside from that, no. I am too poor to afford new corsets :(

The family trees are at a standstill because there are too many brick walls in the way. Besides the clue that my uncle found (see my blog), this is the first clue in many, many months.

needless to say, no genealogy trips in the near future, maybe near the end of summer. I need to get to one of the counties here in Jersey and do some research. oh, and maybe a county in PA to do some research.

I've limited myself to a specific number of branches that I'm researching:

my father's side (his parents) and my mothers' branches (the female lines).

Thanks for asking.

How sweet of you for asking!

Skyler is finally back to his old self as of about Monday. That took around a week to recover, but the docs always say that our kids will bounce back in a couple of days... yeah, right.

No marathons scheduled anymore, because i have an almost complete loss of the disk between my bottom 2 vertebra. So i will have to be content running 5K races from now on!

Hey!

I got into fishcarving thanks to my uncle who had been doing it for a few years. I really liked it, although I don't fish. I haven't done any in a while and want to get back into it. I have also made some rustic furniture and done some sketching, most of which is on my personal website somewhere.

Thanks for asking!

Skyler's Dad: Glad to hear Skyler is doing well. To bad about your back. Ouch! At least you can still run the 5K's.

Chris: I will look for your furniture on your website. It's nice when family memebers share their interests with the younger generation.
