Sammy the red head hasn't had a good couple of days. He had two really bad seizures Wednesday night. The poor dog is in pain for 2-3 days after the seizures because of his muscles contracting and biting his tongue. Nothing less then sitting in my lap and getting a body massage will stop him from crying. He follows me every where, with a constant whimper and pleading with his big brown eyes to pick him up and snuggle. He won't go outside unless I am next to him. And is constantly hungry.
The vet said we can't give him anything for the pain because of the seizure medication. So we just have to wait it out and give him the massages a couple of times a day, feed him carrots to help with the constant hunger, and stand next to him while he pees and poohs.
He's worth it though, he is just so damn cute.

While you're holding Sammy try putting a heating pad over him on low heat. You have to be right there, electricity and dogs, not a good mix. Your vet won't tell you to do this because it isn't recomended d/t the fact that most people wouldn't stay with the pet. Give the little guy a rub behind the ear for me.
