We will not be going out as usual tonight. I have a hair appointment and Mark is going to teach Jenny how to dock the boat. But there is always tomorrow night.
Monday of this week I did something that I have never done and do not feel bad about it. I stole a logo glass from Quimbeys. The new waitress put the glass on the table and I just said "hmmm that would be a nice addition to our collection at home". (Wednesday's are glass night at Quimbeys, get the beer of the night and you take home the glass, that is how we have a collection at home, thanks to Mark and his buddies.) So I am now a thief, and not feeling a bit of remorse. Whadda ya gonna do?

This brings to mind my favorite quote ever from "Wind in the Willows."
"Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing -- absolutely nothing -- half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats."
Yes, Kirby. So true! My sister, aka anon's sister on this blog, would agree, also!
Drink out of your new glass, that's what you're going to do!
Stealing glasses from pubs isn't theft. It's a perfectly normal thing to do, lol. In fact, I think most of the glasses in our cabinets came from pubs at one point!
Kirby: I have never read "Wind in the Willows" but will this summer
bubbles: I like your sister's posts, very salt of the earth
GKL: your are correct! Tonight will be the night, I will toast you as I drink from the glass
talia: Hi! didn't know you read my blog, thanks for visiting. How are things across the pond?
Hey, what are purses for anyway?
I was a notorious glass and pitcher thief in college (and after). When I was a bachelor, most of my glassware was pilfered. I also, inexplicably, took ashtrays. I don't smoke.
