Please someone tell me how to link words, pictures etc. so that readers can click on the word picture, etc and get to that specific site. I have read the instructions, made attempts to figure it out from other blog pages, and have not been successful. Generally trial and error works for me, but this has me stumped.
The one who can help me be successful will win a toast of their own next Thursday at "The Pub." If you were in town I would buy you a drink(s).
Cheers!

I'm old school-- I used to do web design professionally, before there were helper programs. To put a link in:
website link
Put the website within the quotation marks, and the name where it says "website link."
Okay, that didn't show up-- it created a false link.
< a href="" >< /a >
I deliberately left extra spaces so that you'd see text, rather than a hyperlink-- take the extra spaces before or after the brackets-- i.e.
Cheer
You highlight the text you want to link.
Then you go to the url that you want a link to and to a copy.
you press the little chain icon at the top of the editor.
you paste the characters from the copy into that window.
Viola!
I only go in and mess with the HTML like Mr. Y when I am feeling creative, and most times I mess it up, AND probably turn off my comments by mistake. I'm not sure yet, but that might be my problem!
Let me know if that helps.
It looks like your personality test post is victim to the "no comments" problem that AB was having.
