Change of plans....

G man has an industry show in Vegas in Sept. He booked the flight and hotels all ready. We are flying Airtran...direct...3 hour flight....HA! at least we were suppose too...

Airtran sent an email notifying us of a change in our plans....we did not ask for the change, this change is not good, not to our benefit, nor is it making anyone happy. The direct 3 hour flight has been changed to a stop over in Atlanta, 3 hour wait, and then onto Vegas......total time 8 hours. We were suppose to arrive at 2pm Vegas time....with the change we will arrive at 11pm Vegas time.

When G man gets back from his road trip he will try to get a better flight...if not he will cancel everything....ok with me...Vegas is fun but only for a day or two....our trip was for 5 days... he will be in meetings breakfasts, dinners and on the show floor for 3 of the 5.........maybe I will take a day and go to the north rim of the Grand Canyon...I have not seen the canyon from the north side.....an acquaintance of mine Rob and his wife will be in Vegas at the same time G man and I are suppose to be...I was planning to have dinner with them one night....they may not go either if they cannot get a better flight.....

I am not sure how Airtran can justify making a change in flights so drastic...it does not make sense to me......the only reason we were flying Airtran was because of the direct flight.
