I couldn't do it. I went to Barnes and Noble this morning and walked out $57.00 poorer, but 4 books richer. Damn you Barnes and Noble!
Finished the first book today. New author for me....... janet evanovich has a new book coming out Jan 2008. I can hardly wait. Love her Stephanie Plum books...... I bought the newest Post secret book for Jenny. She likes those and the chicken soup books......Greg reads 20th century classics, he is trying to convert me, but I find them to involved, I like books that entertain easily....I might go back to the Ian Rankin mysteries after I finish the other books I purchased today...but then again I may stick with the new authors I just bought.....

I started reading Janet as well considering she writes about Jersey. I enjoy them.
Bookstores are actually crack dens, in my opinion. This is why I stay out of them. That and the fact that I have to stand in the middle of the aisle and say "if I were a James Patterson book, where would I be"?
I do this at Home Depot and Lowes as well.
It has been years since I read on a regular basis. When I worked in downtown Denver and rode the bus, that was my reading time.
Now I just don't ever seem to find the time.
I hope heaven is a book store.
