After our trip G man pulled from the back of our garage a motorized scooter Double G bought when he was 15. The thing never worked. After some tinkering G man managed to get the scooter to run. He brought it down to the cottage. G man weighs 225lbs. The scooter is made for someone maybe 150 tops. But G man is undaunted and rides the thing to our friends cottage and the marina. He imagines it as his Vespa.
Men and their toys!
Last week G man had to work while I had a few days off. Jenny G worked the store for me. Nice! I took my camera with me on a bike ride. The ride usually takes G man and me about 45-50 minutes, depending on the wind. But this day it took about 2 1/2 hours becasue I took my time and photos. Hope you enjoy Canadaguia Lake and the surrounding area.

Great shots Cheer! I love the big red barn with the laundry hanging.
Sd: that is a Mennonite farm....I buy fresh produce from them....
Love the pictures! When we were in Connecticut I used to drive to upstate NY to pick cherries. It was so very, very beautiful! The drive, the orchard, everything! I'm so glad my kids have those memories. We came home and I would pit and freeze the sour cherries and we had fresh cherry pies all winter long! Everyone ate the sweet ones until they couldn't hold any more! I miss that little summer tradition. It was so, so sweet!
Winter? Uh, not so much! :-)
Again, beautiful! I also loved the barn and the clothes line! My favorite.
Great pics. I really like the ones of the scooter. (Uhh, harley?) Men and their toys can be dangerous. All the pics are great but my favorites are G-man and the scooter. He looks threatening on his hog.
Of course I love the pics of the water. You live in a beautiful place.
I can't talk. I have a lot of toys too.
Spectacular! You truly do live in a beautiful place.
Sorry Cheer, I could not resist.
