Our 24 wedding anniversary was last week, no , wait , let me look at the calendar, no it was 2 weeks ago. G Man suggested a trip to my favorite jewelry store which I declined. How many bracelets, necklaces and earrings can a woman wear at one time. I have enough.
So with trepidation and careful planning he suggested a personal trainer and a membership to an all women's club. I jumped at the personal trainer, I could care less about an all women's club, but the personal trainer would be a benefit.
I have met with the trainer twice. She did an obligatory work up, health questions, weight, exercise regime etc. The second time was to show me how use the weight machines.Which is what I really need. Weights.
She and I put together a workout schedule of sorts, filled out a workout journal, and away I went. I am suppose to do cardio 3 times a week for at least 40 minutes, weights every other day and yoga 1 to 2 times a week.
So far so good. We will see in 6 weeks. I will meet with the trainer again this week and she is going to show me how to use the free weights.
We have been staying at the cottage on the weekends. It is sooooooooo relaxing. I love. G Man and I have been playing backgammon alot. Sometimes he refuses to play because I generally win.
The lake was so calm yesterday, and the weather was beautiful I decided to go on the boat. I haven't been on a boat in years. Lots of stories of why no boats for me, but they will be for other posts. I mainly went for my man, my honey, for the G Man, because a women has to show how much she loves her guy, I went on the freaking boat! We had a nice ride with no mishaps, and the beer really helped to calm my nerves.
A hail storm ripped down some large branches out of a our walnut tree, and left many, many dings in the siding of the cottage. Thankfully the deck furniture did not get blown through our window. Clean up was easy as a very nice neighbor named Ray came over and helped saw the big branches.

I've dated a few personal trainers, it's a good gig if you can make a living at it.
P.S. What's your goal, are you trying to tone up or what?

Sounds like all is well! I agree, how many pieces of jewelry can a girl really use? Nice to know that, tho!!
Good luck with the trainer. My trainer lives in the freezer and comes in a variety of flavors. We have an appointment almost every night just before bed.
