Time for What I learned today

When the dogs come running out of the house and you smell smoke, the pot of farro you left on the stove is probably burning and the fire alarm will go off shortly. Never go outside thinking you will remember to go back in the house and turn the stove off in 20 minutes. Lesson definitely learned
And it was my new wolfgang puck stainless steel 2 quart pan!

I have a timer with a clamp on the back that I clip onto my clothing when I go in the back yard. That's the only way I don't burn things.

Great idea, Vikki! I'll have to get one. Also, I need a hearing aid, because I can't hear the timer when I'm inside... and of course I forget I'm cooking anyway... perhaps I should get in home care, instead.

Sorry Cheer! Sorry you weren't paying attention...

Yeah, I've learned to not walk away too far from my stove. If I can't hear the timer going off, I need to stay close.

Sorry about your pan.
