I use "hush", alot.
Sufferin suckotash! Those old words are the cats pajamas!
I currently use none of those, but I might start.
I'm pretty sure "up yours" and "hush" are still used, although I can't say I've heard them in awhile.
I quite frequently tell my kids to "hush your mouth" sushi always cracks up and tells me I sound like a black woman from the south. I just think it sounds nicer than what I feel like saying. ;)
Clobber has been replaced with "beat the **** out of". Up yours replaced by "**** you", hush by "shut up"... as you know.I wish it wasn't so - but I am very, very guilty.I actually liked my grandpa's version of clobber, "I'll smack you into next week".
I use them nearly every day!
Except That's the cats meow, mostly over here we use That's the Dog's bollocks!
I like "hark" a lot. It's good for emphasizing, like in "Hark, methinks I heard a fart" in the middle of a boring meeting.
